The first thing you need to do is start working on your advertising. Learn the elements that make a truly effective advertisement.

In order to do that, you need to know your customers. What makes them buy? WHY do they buy from you and not someone else?

Sit down and write out every little feature about your business that you can think of. For instance, some features of a car would be the engine, number of doors, etc.

Next, turn your features into benefits. A benefit is how a feature actually benefits the buyer. In the car example above, the engine benefit could be plenty of power to get you there fast or perhaps a small engine for good gas mileage. Four doors make it easy for the whole family to get in and out.

Now write as many headlines for your business as you can. Try for 100 headlines. It's easier than you think. A few ideas to get you started...

1. Start your headline with the word "Introducing".

2. Start your headline with the word "Announcing".

3. Feature a special offer.

4. Make a free offer.

5. Tell a story of some kind, the story of your business might be good.

6. Start with the words "How To".

7. Use a one word headline like "Jewelry" or "Mechanic".

8. Use a two word headline. A three word headline.
